What is Matflix?
Matflix is a free online video streaming service that allows users to view and
share martial arts related videos that have been uploaded by our members. Read
more about us here.
How much does Matflix cost?
Matflix is 100% FREE. Anyone can view and share videos, and members can upload
videos and use other features, free of charge.
Is Matflix only for martial artists?
Nope! Matflix is for everyone. However, all video content must be related to
martial arts or martial artists. Anyone can watch the videos and
upload videos they own or created whether or not they practice martial arts themselves. Matflix is
for practitioners, enthusiasts and of course anyone else who's curious. :)
Do I have to sign up to upload videos?
Yes. Since videos are attached to your profile, you must sign up as a member
to upload videos. Becoming a member also allows you to save videos, create playlists,
and leave comments, among many other features.
How do videos get featured?
Matflix 's members rate videos they like, and we review highly-rated and recent
videos for consideration in 'Today's Featured Videos'. We also scan the site
on a regular basis. See a video you think should be featured? We also take recommendations
from members at gr8flix@matflix.com.
What are tags?Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a
women's karate video might be tagged with "women," "karate,"
and "tournament." Users who enjoy watching karate videos or female
martial artist videos can then search for any of those terms and that video
will show up in their search results. Tags help you label videos you upload
so that other people can find them more easily. Channels
also help you classify your videos.
How do I remove a video? To remove one of your videos, simply log in,
go to http://www.matflix.com/my_video.php and click on the 'Remove Video' button
next to the video you'd like to remove. You are only able to remove videos that
you have uploaded.
Can I change my username?
No. Your username is your permanent identity in the Matflix community. Create it with care, and rock on!
